Audio Plugin Guy 1st Birthday Bundle

1792 2

This April (2018) marks the end of the first year of the Audio Plugin Guy website’s existence.

Wow [Owen Wilson GIF]!

It seems simultaneously like a lifetime ago and yet only yesterday we started this funky little webzine up. The moment of conception occurred a few months earlier and started out as just a twitter account. 124 characters were never going to be enough to express our enthusiasm for plugins and so the development of a website was the next logical step…

But anyway, enough nostalgia tripping. Let’s get to the interesting stuff that you came for.

Happy Birthday to Us!

We’ve been talking to some of our most favourite developers and sample pack people to see what they would like to contribute to a bundle for our readers. And the response has been immense! We are incredibly pleased to be able to offer the following freebies and prize draws. All you gotta do is sign up to our mailing list and you’ll be in with a chance to win. We don’t spam, in fact we barely send emails at all, ask any existing subscriber! We will, of course, protect your data and will never pass on any email addresses or other information to third parties. We’re not sneaky like that.

When you sign up you will immediately receive an email with your download links. If you don’t get that email, let us know.

If you’re just here for the discount codes… scroll down, greedy.

Prizes. Prizes. Prizes!

Yup… we got prizes! Everyone who signs up will be entered into the draw and eighteen winners will be picked at random at the end of April to get one of the following (in no particular order).

Prize #1: Vintage Vault 2 from UVI

That’s right. One bloody lucky winner will get the entire Vintage Vault 2 collection of fantastic vintage synths from UVI. We’ve already written about this bundle before but here’s a list of what’s included: BeatBox Anthology 2, Cameo, Darklight IIx, Digital Synsations, Digital Synsations Vol. 2 Emulation One, Emulation II, Mello, OB Legacy, PX Apollo, String Machines, The Beast, UltraMini, UVS-3200, UVX80, UVX-3P, UVX-10P, Vector Pro, Vintage Legends and WaveRunner

That’s one hell of a prize, worth $599 (or $2,600 if purchased separately). Dayum.

Prize #2: The Works from Kilohearts

Another APG favourits (Spoiler: All prizes are APG favourites!). We recently reviewed Multipass, which is included in this prize.  “The Works” from Kilohearts is their entire bundle, literally everything they have, including: KHs ONE, Chorus, Delay, gain, limiter, Stereo, Bitcrush, Comb filter, Compressor, Distortion, Filter, Formant filter, Frequency shifter, Haas, ladder filter, Phaser, Pitch shifter, Resonator, Trance gate, Reverb, Reverser, Ring Mod, TapeStop, gate, snap heap, Multipass, Disperser and faturator.

Prize #3: Discovery Pro from Disco DSP

Guess what… we love Discovery from DiscoDSP! You can read what we wrote about it to find out why. A worthy weapon for any serious musicians armoury. Could you get it for free? Well you gotta be in it to win it…

Regular price: $149

Prize #4: Physion from Eventide

Physion (formerly known as Fission) hasn’t been reviewed by us yet. Gasp! But it’s on the list and as we only review good plugins then you can be assured that this is a good plugin.

It allows you to split a sound into its transient and tonal parts, independently manipulate them using Eventide’s world-class effects and then fuse them back together. With the ability to add effects and dynamic controls to the transient and tonal sections, you can produce a wide range of effects, from the subtle to the extreme.

It’s pretty special and regularly sells for $179. Ooof.

Prize #5: REFERENCE from Mastering the Mix and a copy of Never Get Stuck Again

And the quality prizes just keep on coming! Next up we’re giving away a license for REFERENCE from Mastering the Mix (reviewed here) as well as a copy of the audiobook and eBook, Never Get Stuck Again.  A single resource that you can turn to for inspiration and techniques to help you finish more tracks to a higher standard.

Prize #6: Black Octopus Leviathan 1 & Leviathan 2 Sample Packs

Yes, these two epic and amazing sample packs from Black Octopus could be yours! Both Leviathan 1 and Leviathan 2 are included in this prize, adding up to over 10,000 exceptional samples (10GB of content). That will keep you inspired for some time.

Prizes #7-18: RX950 Classic AD/DA Converter plugin from Mathieu Demange
