8Dio and Soundpaint have launched the Spectralius Saxophone 2.0 library, a product specifically designed for the free Soundpaint Engine. The 2.0 update of Spectralius Saxophone boasts over a dozen new programs, a complete redesign of the layout, tips, and keyboard labels, and takes full advantage of the latest features of Soundpaint 3.0.
The Spectralius Tenor Saxophone has been meticulously designed to capture the most minute details, aiming to provide a level of realism that blurs the line between sampled and live music. The library includes 78 Deep-Sampled Tenor Sax Parts, featuring a wide range of Arcs, Short Notes, Sustain, and Performance-based articulations.
The technology behind Spectralius is the innovative H.A.L (Hyper Acoustic Legato) Technology. This technology provides a level of instrumental realism that allows for seamless polyphonic legato. It enables users to transition from a single-note melody into a full ensemble at any time, further enhancing the versatility and realism of the library.
The Spectralius Saxophone 2.0 library contains 62 programs, 78 parts, and 11.9K Real-Time Samples™. The samples are provided in a high-resolution 48 Khz / 24 Bit Stereo, .RTS (Real Time Sample) format. The library is compatible with both Windows (Version 10 and above) and Mac (OS X 10.14 and above) on both Intel and Apple ARM (M Chip) architectures. Supported plug-in formats include Stand-alone, VST, VST3, AU, and AAX. The minimum system requirements for the library include an Intel Core i5 or equivalent CPU, 16 GB of RAM or more recommended, and SSD recommended.
