Acustica Audio has launched an update to their Salt 5-band mixing EQ plugin, Salt Ultra, for Windows and Mac. Salt, Acustica’s latest 5-band Hyper3 mixing EQ, is known for its superior performance and minimal CPU usage, and is available in VST, VST3, AAX, and AU formats.
Salt has been carefully sampled from three iconic vintage EQ devices that have set new standards in sound quality since their introduction and have been used to record and mix some of the most notable records of all time. Unlike the original devices, all of these EQ types/modes feature smoothly adjustable frequencies. Their magic lies in the finely defined curves, closely emulating the original hardware and perfectly preserving transients. We have enhanced the precision of parameter control (frequency, bandwidth, gain) by adjusting the component values in the original circuits.
