Acustica Audio has Launched the Rice reverb plugin suite, available for both Mac and Windows. This innovative digital reverb tool is designed to cater to a wide range of creative sound design and mixing needs, offering a unique blend of algorithmic and convolution-based reverb techniques.
The Rice plugin suite stands out with its extensive collection of over 100 meticulously crafted reverb algorithms. These algorithms are categorized based on the types of spaces they emulate, their width, depth, and suitability for various musical genres. This categorization allows users to select the most appropriate reverb effect for their specific musical style or production need.
The versatility of the Rice plugin suite extends beyond its algorithmic offerings. It is designed to enhance various aspects of music production, from vocals to immersive cinematic soundscapes, and even adding punch and character to drums with stunning realism.
In terms of user interface, the Rice plugin suite provides two options. One is a traditional 3D interface tailored for hardware enthusiasts, offering a tactile and immersive experience. The other is a sleek, minimalist 2D design optimized for simplicity and focus. Despite the difference in design, both versions offer identical functionality and controls.
The Rice plugin suite is packed with key features that enhance its usability and functionality. These include intuitive spectral control, enhanced stereo control, versatile reverb types, an interactive graphic equalizer, advanced monitoring options, and a fully resizable interface. Furthermore, it boasts broad compatibility across all major DAWs and platforms, including VST3, AU, and AAX, and comes with factory presets.
Building on the spectral processing methodology introduced with the acclaimed Dove plugin by Acustica Audio, the Rice plugin suite employs a hybrid approach. This combines algorithmic and convolution-based reverb techniques, allowing for precise tailoring of reverb tails. This ensures that your mix remains clean and balanced, regardless of the complexity of the sound design.
As an introductory offer, the Rice plugin suite is available at a 22% discount until February 13th.
