Arturia has launched V-Collection 11, a comprehensive suite of virtual instruments designed for modern music production. This release offers a diverse range of software instruments, from classic emulations to innovative hybrid synth engines, all enhanced to meet the demands of today’s producers.
The V-Collection 11 is packed with thousands of high-quality presets, providing users with a vast array of sounds to explore. The suite includes Analog Lab, which allows for seamless browsing and editing of every preset from a single interface. This feature ensures a streamlined workflow, making it easier for users to find and modify sounds to suit their creative needs.
Each instrument within the collection shares a common interface for browsing and editing, which includes options to save, import, and export presets. New in-app tutorials are available to help users quickly understand the functionalities of each instrument, making the suite accessible to both beginners and seasoned professionals.
The graphical interfaces of the instruments are designed in high resolution, ensuring compatibility with large displays. This attention to detail enhances the user experience, providing clear and visually appealing interfaces. Additionally, the suite offers easy MIDI mapping to any keyboard controller, facilitating a more intuitive interaction with the instruments.
Arturia’s proprietary technologies, TAE® and Phi®, are integral to the V-Collection 11, bringing depth, warmth, and realism to each instrument. These technologies are designed to replicate the nuances of analog circuits and materials, delivering a rich and authentic sound experience.
Platform Specifications
The V-Collection 11 is compatible with both Windows and Apple operating systems. For Windows, the suite requires Windows 10 or later (64-bit), 8 GB of RAM, a 4-core CPU with a 3.4 GHz speed (4.0 GHz Turbo-boost), 50 GB of free hard disk space, and an OpenGL 2.0 compatible GPU. It is important to note that ARM processors are not supported on Windows.
For Apple users, the suite is compatible with Mac OS 11 or later, requiring 8 GB of RAM, a 4-core CPU with a 3.4 GHz speed (4.0 GHz Turbo-boost) or an M1 CPU, 50 GB of free hard disk space, and an OpenGL 2.0 compatible GPU.
The Arturia Software Center (ASC) provides an elegant and simple solution for installing, activating, and updating the software instruments included in the V-Collection 11.
