Auddict has released Wireburn Electric Violin, a sample library for Kontakt 5 Full Version and above.

News: Auddict has released Wireburn Electric Violin, a sample library for Kontakt 5 Full Version and above.

Auddict has launched Wireburn Electric Violin, a Kontakt sample library performed by violinist Finneas Moore. Designed for hybrid scoring, trailer work, and lead-line arrangements, the library requires the full version of Kontakt 5 or later.

Wireburn Electric Violin provides 16 articulations and four legato modes, with performance material intended for expressive electric violin parts. Short articulations include seven round robins, while a real-time legato aid is included for smoothing transitions between notes.

The instrument offers three individually soloable and mixable tone sources:

  • DI, for users who wish to apply their own amplification and processing
  • Amped Clean
  • Amped Driven Hard

Its onboard controls include a three-tone mixer, tone soloing, crush, EQ, and reverb. Auddict also includes its AI-P processing, which the developer states is used for phase convergence, round-robin timbre matching, and dynamic-layer distribution.

The library was performed by Finneas Moore, whose work and studies span pop, R&B, hip hop, classical music, jazz, and film music. His performance credits include work with Usher, Alan Silvestri, Joe Lovano, Sona Jobarteh, Kenny Barron, Andrés Cepeda, Daymé Arocena, Tito Puente Jr, and the 8-Bit Big Band.

Wireburn Electric Violin is available for $79, reduced from $200. A bundle containing Wireburn Electric Violin and Rampage Electric Cello is available for $137, reduced from a combined RRP of $400. A second bundle, including Wireburn Electric Violin, Rampage Electric Cello, and Drums of the Deep III, is available for $199, reduced from a combined RRP of $640. Promotion expiry information was not provided.
