Audija has recently launched a new product, KickDrum synth, a precision bassdrum synthesis tool. This digital dancefloor kick operates on a sine wave oscillating from a high pitch to a low pitch. KickDrum was developed to offer maximum precision with an intuitive workflow, aiming to achieve the desired sound in a short time.
The key features of KickDrum include Phase Zero Transition, which enables precise adjustment of the phase zero crossing. This can be positioned at the end of the kick, creating a phase-accurate transition to the baseline. Another feature is the ability to set the length of the kick relatively to match the beat grid or statically in milliseconds.
KickDrum also offers Free Bezier Curves, allowing the Bezier curves gravity point to be freely adjusted on two axes for more precise shaping. The Full Navigation feature allows users to use the right mouse button to zoom and pan on the Oscillogram, Decibel scale, Pitch Keyboard, or EQ, offering precise editing down to the sample.
One of the standout features is the One Click WAV Export, which copies the current kickdrum as a .wav file to the clipboard, allowing it to be pasted anywhere needed. The Synthesis integrated EQ is a fully featured synthesis integrated linear phase EQ that applies its frequency response during the synthesis, resulting in latency-free and DSP-efficient equalizing.
The Rich Preset Browser allows users to create, rename, delete, tag, filter, and sort presets or manage subdirectories. The Keysnap feature, if needed, makes the pitch curves points snap to the closest musical note, making in-key editing easy.
To celebrate the launch of KickDrum synth, Audija is offering a 50% discount on the VST/AU. This offer is valid until January 1st.
