Audija has recently released its KickDrum bassdrum synth plugin, now available in version 2.0.4 for both Windows and Mac operating systems. This precision bassdrum synthesis plugin features a unique engine that updates the audio buffer at edit time, allowing for high-quality audio processing and instant visual feedback.
The modular device chain of the KickDrum bassdrum synth plugin provides full customization of the signal path. Users can add, remove, reorder, and nest devices, applying effects where needed. The plugin features devices like OSC, SAMPLE, EQ, ENV, SAT, CLIP, among others. It also includes an automation system for device settings, an analyze function, Bézier curve features, compare states, presets, signal path visualization, navigation, length, and output features.
The 2.0.4 release includes several bug fixes. These include corrections for folders and filenames with non-regular characters now being displayed correctly, import of samples with non-regular characters now functioning, and clicking Settings in rare circumstances no longer leading to a crash. Other bug fixes include vertical scaling not resetting on undo/redo, preset storage path no longer stored in preset file, and EQ spectrum not stopping being drawn in certain cases.
The 2.0.3 release introduced a new feature allowing grouped devices to be collapsed and several improvements. The work area can now be set to very short durations, a new option to save plugin dimensions also in the project was added, and GUI envelope lines and others now scale correctly with the plugin window size. Several bug fixes were also included in this release.
The 2.0.2 release addressed bugs related to opening more than one instance and closing the first opened instance, which no longer causes a crash in some DAWs. Selecting a FactoryPreset, when a non-FactoryPreset with the same name was selected previously, no longer causes a crash.
The 2.0.1 release fixed a bug where mouse clicks were ignored in certain cases and a Mac-only bug where setups were assigning incorrect permissions to plugin files, preventing DAWs from loading them.
The 2.0.0 release introduced new features such as skipping through presets and updating them from the main menu via RemotePresetSelector, a new preset browser, and a phase invert function added to the Sample Device. Several improvements and bug fixes were also included in this release.
