Audiomodern has launched Playbeat 4, an innovative AI-powered drum designer that promises to redefine the way users create drum patterns. This latest version introduces advanced algorithms and genre-based pattern generation, offering users a wide array of new patterns, sounds, and grooves.
Playbeat 4 is designed to ensure that the generated patterns are not only fresh but also musically usable, providing users with precise control over their creations. The software is available in multiple formats, including VST, VST3, AU, AAX, AUv3, and as a standalone version, making it versatile for various production environments.
The software comes equipped with a comprehensive factory library, featuring patterns, sounds, and 1500 kits. These resources fuel its powerful AI algorithms, enabling the generation of dynamic drum tracks. Users also have the option to expand the system by adding their own presets, sounds, and tags, allowing for a personalized experience.
In addition to its desktop versions, Playbeat 4 is available for iPad, providing flexibility for users on the go. The software offers extensive customization options, including the ability to create custom expansions. Its versatile MIDI output section allows it to control other plugins or external hardware, enhancing its functionality in a studio setup.
Playbeat 4 supports all major digital audio workstations (DAWs), such as Ableton Live, Pro Tools, Logic Pro, FL Studio, Cubase, Studio One, Bitwig, Reaper, and Reason. It is compatible with Mac OS 10.14 and later versions, including Native Apple Silicon M1/M2, as well as PC Windows 10 and newer.
