Authentic Soundware has launched Jazz Anthology Drums library for Kontakt. This new release offers a unique collection of performance-based Resonant Repetition samples, advanced tempo-aware playable brush sweeps, and a variety of microphone options, among other features.
The Jazz Anthology Drums library for Kontakt is designed to capture the liveliness and natural sustain of resonating ride cymbal and drums. It includes 20 factory presets and eight microphone options, providing a range of sound possibilities. The product also features a pattern maker, which is paired with a library of authentic rhythmic feels and patterns, offering users a comprehensive toolkit for creating their own unique soundscapes.
To use the library, users will need a full license of Kontakt version 6.7 or higher, as it does not support the free Kontakt Player. Additionally, a free Pulse Downloader app and account are necessary for installation. In a move that supports the creative community, Authentic Soundware has also committed to paying royalties to performers.
The Jazz Anthology Drums library was recorded at the iconic Sear Sound studio in midtown Manhattan, using their unrivaled collection of rare and vintage microphones. The product features one standard mix and eight mic positions, including options recorded to an Ampex tape machine through the legendary Fairchild limiter. This ensures a high-quality, authentic sound that is sure to impress.
The library also includes a Real Feel pattern maker and player, as well as tempo-specific brush sweep sampling and performance. The uncompressed sample content is approximately 15GB, which compresses to around 8GB. The kit features a vintage Rogers kit with a 1950-53 Type IIIa Old Stamp K Zildjian Istanbul 20” ride cymbal, further enhancing the authenticity of the sound.
Designed with composers, producers, samplists, and crate-diggers in mind, the Jazz Anthology Drums library for Kontakt is a comprehensive tool for any music professional or enthusiast. The product size is approximately 15GB, or around 7GB when compressed, and it includes one Kontakt instrument.
