Introducing Blinksonic eclo.re, a revolutionary interactive player that offers a fresh approach to music diffusion, combining the elements of a DJ tool and a music player. This innovative product allows users to experiment and explore variations of full electronic music compositions, providing an immersive and manipulable audio platform.
This interactive player is not a sequencer, a simple music player, or a DAW. Instead, it can be described as a mini DJ program with an engaging visualizer. It offers an endless meta album/EP for users to interact with, making it a unique tool for IDM Glitch Electronica enthusiasts.
The player series is a compilation and re-edit of five albums and EPs self-released in the early 2000s. Only a few of these have been pressed to CD (around 350), and none have been officially released on any streaming platform. These albums and EPs have been rearranged, remixed, and remastered specifically for this project.
The interactive player presents a new paradigm for music diffusion. It allows users to listen to music in a unique way and potentially interfere with or play with it. It’s nearly a game, a blend of a music player and a multitrack DJ tool. Users can sculpt four tracks with basic DJ features like loopers, eq filters, panoramic, reverse, scratch, warp/stretch/pitch features, and three additional effects.
This player is:
- An immersive media
- An audiovisual capsule
- A manipulable audio platform
- A new diffusion model concept
- A direct-to-fan experience
- A sonic game installation
- A crossover between new media art and a virtual DJ tool
- An animated album artwork
With this player, users can:
- Mix music in their own way: Loop at any point during the playback and take control of the mix.
- Incorporate their own content and remix it: Users can load their own multitrack songs.
- Experiment with random features, add effects, change the pitch and the tempo. For the most inspired and adventurous, this player can quickly transform into a full-fledged instrument for generating sounds.
The interactive player is available for purchase in a single package, which includes 5 x ECLO.RE players and album/EP versions in high-quality .wav (44.1 kHz, 24 bits) and MP3 (242 kbps) format. The package is priced at 35€.
