Bark of Dog 3 is a stereo and Mid-Side (M-S) low-frequency enhancer that combines a resonant filter with a Pultec-style boost-attenuation EQ. This plugin is crafted to be user-friendly, allowing for seamless integration into various audio projects. Users can choose between Stereo, Mid only, or Side only processing, offering flexibility in sound manipulation.
One of the standout features of Bark of Dog 3 is its continuously variable center frequency knob, which provides precise control over the frequency range being enhanced. The plugin includes three distinct modes:
- Classic Mode: Incorporates the resonant filter mode from its predecessor, offering a familiar sound enhancement option.
- Passive Mode: Adds a Pultec-like boost-attenuation feature, expanding the plugin’s tonal capabilities.
- Combo Mode: Combines both Classic and Passive modes, delivering a comprehensive sound shaping experience.
Bark of Dog 3 is compatible with MacOS 10.13 or greater, supporting both Intel and Apple Silicon processors. For Windows users, the plugin requires Windows 7 or later. It is available in 64-bit VST2.4, VST3, AU, and AAX formats, ensuring broad compatibility with most digital audio workstations.
