Cherry Audio has unveiled the PS-3300, a virtual synthesizer plugin compatible with both Windows and Mac. This plugin is a meticulously accurate virtual analog emulation of the semi-modular analog polyphonic synthesizer that KORG released in 1977.
Cherry Audio has gone to great lengths to faithfully recreate and modernize this legendary synthesizer, from its powerful layered sonic character and signature multiple-resonator sweeps to the extensive patching capabilities that set the PS-3300 apart from other polysynths of its time.
The PS-3300 offers a host of features that make it a faithful virtual analog emulation of the semi-modular analog polyphonic synthesizer that Korg released in 1977. These include:
- Three independent “signal generator” panels, each with an oscillator, lowpass filter, three-peak resonators, envelope with velocity, amp, two mod generator LFOs, and per-note tuning.
- A polyphonic mode with up to 24 voices of polyphony and three monophonic modes: last, low, and high note priority.
