The Liminal range is not specifically designed for fast passages or soaring melodies. Instead, these libraries serve as collections of naturalistic pads, offering humanistic details that are not typically found in synthetic sources. Several articulations within the library have a strong focus on rhythm and synchronicity, leveraging Kontakt’s Time Machine Pro feature.
The user interface of the Liminal: Spirited Flutes library allows for the layering, mixing, and reversing of articulations. The ‘crossfade gizmo’ feature enables the artful blending of sound layers with intuitive color-coded controls. Additionally, LFO controls can be enabled, allowing your DAW’s tempo to dictate the modulation of an individual layer’s volume.
