D16 Group has launched its latest product update, the Nithonat 2 drum machine plugin. This innovative software is compatible with both Windows and Mac OS, offering a range of features designed to enhance music production.
The Nithonat 2 drum machine plugin is known for its characteristic, harsh, and metallic sounds that can cut through a mix with ease. It provides a wide spectrum of sounds, including rumbling kicks, barky snares, and unique toms and hi-hats. To further enhance the sound output, the plugin includes an effect chain.
In addition to its sound capabilities, the Nithonat 2 drum machine plugin comes with a convenient and inspiring sequencer. This sequencer boasts a rich set of editing functions and sound articulations, allowing users to fully control dynamics. Users can adjust the velocity for both accented and non-accented steps.
The plugin also provides a variety of trigger modes, including LIVE and HOST NOTE. It offers substantial factory content, with over 900 presets and patterns. For easy controller assignment, the plugin includes a MIDI map editor.
The Nithonat 2 drum machine plugin also features master bus presets, a multi-band compressor, and a limiter with a soft-clip option for final touches. It supports several UI sizes and HiDPI for better screen fit.
The system requirements for the Windows version include Windows 7 or newer, an Intel x86 / AMD x86 CPU, and a VST2 / VST3 / AAX compatible host application. For Mac users, the plugin requires Mac OS X 10.13 to macOS 14, an Intel x86 / Apple Silicon CPU, and a VST2 / VST3 / AU / AAX compatible host application.
Owners of the original Nithonat and loyal D16 customers will receive a special upgrade/crossgrade offer via email or in their User Area.
The Nithonat 2 drum machine plugin is currently available at an introductory discount of 42%. This offer is valid until July 6th.
