DAWJunkie has launched VinylSynth Jr, a synthesizer plugin for macOS and Windows. The plugin uses sound generators derived from vinyl recordings and is provided in VST, AU, and AAX formats.
VinylSynth Jr includes three sound generators based on actual vinyl recordings, providing the core sound sources for its synthesis engine. These generators can be shaped using the plugin’s filter section and ADSR envelope controls.
The instrument also includes unison settings for configuring multiple voices, alongside an arpeggiator for creating repeating note patterns from held MIDI notes. A full effects section is included for further processing within the plugin.
VinylSynth Jr is compatible with Mac and Windows systems and is supplied in the following plugin formats:
