Decent Samples & Venus Theory have launched Bitscape 95, a novel toy sampler library tailored for the free Decent Sampler. This unique product is a rich source of lo-fi magic, meticulously crafted from the YakBak, a popular toy from the 90s.
Bitscape 95 is a distinctive creation by Decent Samples & Venus Theory. This toy sampler library is specifically designed for the free Decent Sampler. The library is a treasure trove of lo-fi magic, painstakingly crafted from the YakBak, a staple from the 90s childhood. It merges digitally crushed, nostalgic textures and characterful imperfections with the grit and vibe of a lo-fi device. The library delves into the novelty of a sampler that was never intended to be used as a sampler, presenting a unique assortment of sounds and sonic textures. It boasts evolving, shifting pads, crunchy digital keys and pianos, and pulsing soundscapes and atmospheres.
Alongside the raw samples, the library also encompasses a curated “Evo” collection of presets. These presets transform the raw YakBak recordings with a touch of modern sonic alchemy. These Evolutions provide a different type of sonic complexity, adding depth and dimension to the sounds.
Bitscape 95 is an ideal choice for producers in search of classic 90s lo-fi vibes, sound designers in pursuit of vintage textures, composers requiring nostalgic textures, or artists aiming to incorporate a touch of playful imperfection into their work.
