The founder announced the closure in a heartfelt message to the Creative Intent community, citing personal life and career changes as the reasons for the decision. The founder expressed a mix of emotions, saying the decision was “bittersweet,” but also expressed pride in what he and his team were able to build.
The company, known for its creative effects plugins, has been in operation for over six years. During this time, the founder and his team had the opportunity to work with a diverse group of people and witness their products being used in unexpected ways, something that the founder described as his “favorite takeaway from this experience.”
In an unusual move, the founder encouraged users to continue using their products and even share them with friends, as the plugins do not have copy protection. He also expressed his hope that their software, such as Tantrum, would continue to be enjoyed and used for years to come.
