DH Plugins has launched BASS-FACE, which is available for free for a limited period. This ‘One-Knob’ style multi-effect plug-in is designed to add presence and distortion to your sound, offering three distinct modes to choose from, each increasing in drive and presence.
BASS-FACE is designed as an enhancer / drive unit, processing several effects to add character, drive, width, modulation, and presence to your sounds. The three modes it offers are:
- TYPE 1 – Gentle Presence, Space and Subtle Modulation
- TYPE 2 – Saturation, Presence, Space and Subtle Modulation
- TYPE 3 – Drive, Presence and Subtle Modulation
In addition to these modes, BASS-FACE also offers a CLIP feature that adds a no-frills hard clipper to the end of the signal chain and an XTRA feature that boosts the Spacial and Modulation effects.
The product has been lauded for its excellent sound quality, ease of use, and resource efficiency. Users have particularly appreciated its ability to add grit, bite, depth, and a pleasing saturation tone to any audio, making it sound more vibrant and alive. It also runs smoothly and has proven beneficial in enhancing some NI massive patches.
BASS-FACE is compatible with AU / VST3 / AAX 64 BIT, and requires 1GB RAM, 1GB HDD SPACE, WIN 7 OR LATER, OSX 10.8 OR LATER. It is also M1/M2/M3 ready. Each purchase allows for three license activations.
