EEYORE launched playable sample instrument to Kontakt 8 Player. It offers a suite of sound design tools built around bowed cymbal samples.
EEYORE installs into Kontakt 8 Player and includes a copy of the player with each purchase. The instrument extends beyond traditional pad textures by providing electric organ tones, slow-opening risers, 80s-style keys, deep bass, and eerie effects derived from a single cymbal source.
Users gain access to 72 preset sound patches, each based on a different bowed cymbal recording. Patches can be reversed, envelope settings adjusted, and an onboard LFO activated to modulate key parameters. This flexibility unlocks hundreds of unique sonic variations.
The instrument was inspired by the character Eeyore from Winnie the Pooh and originated as an internal resource for lo-fi synth sounds and ethereal, cinematic scoring elements.
EEYORE runs on Mac or Windows with the following minimum requirements:
- Mac OS 12 or later (Intel i5 or Apple M1 or better)
- Windows 10 or 11 (Intel i5 or equivalent CPU)
- Kontakt or Kontakt Player 8 or higher
- Native Access 2
- 4 GB of free disk space and at least 4 GB of RAM
- Supported plugin formats: VST3, AU, AAX
