fedDSP has released quadCHO, a chorus plug-in for movement, width and creative modulation.

News: fedDSP has released quadCHO, a chorus plug-in for movement, width and creative modulation.

fedDSP has announced a 50% promotional discount on quadCHO, its chorus plug-in for modulation, stereo width, and atmospheric effects. The plug-in is designed for music production and mixing workflows that use layered chorus movement, detuning, and stereo shaping.

quadCHO expands on conventional chorus processing through two independent modulation sections. Each section includes controls for rate, depth, detune, phase, pan, and level, allowing users to combine separate modulation behaviours within a single instance.

The plug-in also includes modulation functions named REACT, SPACE, SWIRL, and WEAVE, alongside waveform controls. These parameters are intended to provide additional control over movement, texture, stereo placement, and variation in the processed signal.

A QUAD mode changes each modulation section into a denser chorus voice, while global controls provide adjustment of the overall mix, depth, tilt, saturation, width, and output level. quadCHO also includes high-pass and low-pass filters, a VINTAGE mode for a softer saturation character, and fedDSP’s zero-latency limiter.

fedDSP states that quadCHO is designed for use in modern production sessions, including tracking and larger projects, with zero-latency operation and low CPU usage. The plug-in uses an offline-first licensing system that does not require a dongle or an internet connection after installation, and includes keyboard shortcuts for workflow control.

quadCHO is available at an introductory price of £37.50, representing a 50% discount from its regular price of £75. The promotion is scheduled to run until 8 October 2026.
