Fluidshell has released Seraphim Blueprint. Like the previously released Seraphim, the core of the instrument is a fusion of wavetables, network filters, and resonators, but the new Seraphim Blueprint now allows for more complex and numerous modulations.
The generator in the Seraphim Blueprint allows users to modulate the reading of the wavetable, choose the reading mode used, and modulate a number of crucial parameters. This enhanced functionality sets the stage for a more dynamic and versatile musical experience.
The instrument is set in motion by two main envelopes (ADSR), four auxiliary envelopes (AR), and two LFOs (intermodulable triangle and sine). These components collectively drive the instrument, including the five filters in the filter network. This intricate setup allows for a wide range of sound manipulation and creation, offering musicians a tool that is as versatile as it is powerful.
The Seraphim Blueprint is not just a single instrument, but a collection of 14. It includes seven instances with ‘atonal’ resonators and seven instances with chromatically tuned resonators. This variety further expands the possibilities for musicians, allowing them to experiment with a broad spectrum of sounds and tones.
This new version, aptly named ‘Blueprint’, is a precursor to what the hardware version of the instrument is expected to be. It offers a glimpse into the future of Fluidshell’s development trajectory, hinting at the exciting advancements that are yet to come.
For those who already own the original version of Seraphim, the Seraphim Blueprint is available free of charge. This offer allows existing users to experience the new features and enhancements without any additional cost.
For newcomers, purchasing the Seraphim Blueprint will also grant free access to the original Seraphim. This provides an excellent opportunity for those new to Fluidshell’s offerings to familiarize themselves with both the original and the new version of the instrument.
For a limited time, Fluidshell is offering a promotional discount on the Seraphim Blueprint. Details of the discount can be found on the company’s website.
