Fracture Sounds has unveiled its latest offering, Blueprint: Textural Violin, a complimentary library for Kontakt Player. This fifth instalment in the Blueprint series features early experimental work by composer and violinist Alexander Parsons, and is available for free upon signing up to the Fracture Sounds mailing list.
Blueprint: Textural Violin is a showcase of early recordings made by Alexander Parsons. These were initially created as test samples prior to the recording sessions for the collaborative library, Trails: Evocative Soundscapes. The library includes four textural articulations, along with effects such as Delay and Reverbs.
The user interface is designed to be intuitive and user-friendly, allowing musicians to control the dynamic layers via the mod wheel/ CC1. It also provides the ability to randomise the pan of each sample, control the level of the wet delay signal, and manage the level of reverb with additional settings. Users can also control the level of the Atmosphere Layer and press [S] to solo it, as well as adjust the Volume, Pan, Attack, and Release envelopes of each articulation.
Blueprint: Textural Violin is fully compatible with the free Kontakt Player and offers full NKS support, with activation through Native Access. This makes it accessible not only to a wide range of musicians but also to those who are blind or visually impaired.
The library features four textural violin articulations played by Alexander Parsons, individual articulation settings, and bespoke Atmosphere Layer sound design. It also boasts a simple and user-friendly interface, full NKS support – making it compatible with Komplete Kontrol hardware, and a 1.2GB download size (NCW compressed from a 2.5GB sample pool). The library runs in the free Kontakt Player (v7 or later), eliminating the need for additional sampler software.
There is currently no expiry date for this promotional offer. To access the Blueprint: Textural Violin library for free, simply sign up to the Fracture Sounds mailing list.
