Fracture Sounds has launched Blueprint: Bass Guitar, a comprehensive library for Kontakt Player. The product, a meticulous sampling of a Fender Precision bass, is available for free and boasts a variety of controls to tailor its sound across diverse genres.
Blueprint: Bass Guitar provides the versatility to switch between the pure, direct signal or an ‘amped’ version. This feature allows users to apply custom effects to the original signal, thereby adding character and depth to the sound. The library also includes a drive control, which enables users to introduce warmth and saturation to the bass, thereby enhancing its presence in any mix.
Further controls are provided to apply dynamic compression, allowing users to shape and refine the tone to suit various musical styles. This flexibility makes Blueprint: Bass Guitar a versatile tool for musicians and producers across a wide range of genres.
The product has a download size of 320MB, NCW compressed from a 1GB sample pool. It is designed to run in the free Kontakt Player and is NKS compatible. This compatibility ensures that the product can be used seamlessly with Native Instruments’ Komplete Kontrol keyboards, further enhancing its usability.
Key features of Blueprint: Bass Guitar include two articulations: Fingered and Picked, controls to help shape the tone to any genre, a simple and user-friendly interface, full NKS support – works with Komplete Kontrol hardware, and a 320MB download size (NCW compressed from a 1GB sample pool). The product runs in the free Kontakt Player (v8 or later), eliminating the need for additional sampler software.
