Full Bucket Music has launched a new software instrument, Oxid, which is a free emulation plugin of the ARP Omni-2 synthesizer. Available for both Windows and macOS, Oxid is designed to simulate the classic ARP Omni-2 Polyphonic Synthesizer from the 1970s, offering high performance and low CPU consumption.
Oxid is compatible with Microsoft Windows (VST2/VST3/CLAP) and Apple macOS (VST2/VST3/CLAP/AU). It is developed using native C++ code, ensuring optimal performance and minimal CPU usage. This makes it a highly efficient tool for music production, providing users with a seamless and smooth experience.
The main features of Oxid include a close simulation of the original hardware, offering users a nostalgic and authentic experience. It boasts 64 voices polyphony, providing a wide range of sound options for users to explore. The software instrument also includes String and Synthesizer sections, offering a variety of sound textures and effects.
In addition to these features, Oxid also offers paraphonic madness, a unique feature that allows for complex and intricate sound design. It also comes with additional Phaser and Delay effects, providing users with more options to enhance and modify their sound.
