Full Bucket Music has launched Ragnarök v2.0.0, designed for both Windows and Mac operating systems. This software instrument, which emulates a unique, custom-built analog synthesizer from 1980, is a product of a collaboration between Hans Peter and Björn, collectively known as Full Bucket.
Ragnarök v2.0.0 is crafted in native C++ code, ensuring high performance and minimal CPU consumption. The software’s main features include up to 64 voices polyphony with portamento, a unique band-limited oscillator bank, an additional white noise generator, and a multi-pole zero-delay feedback filter. It also boasts two envelopes with exponential slopes, a low-frequency oscillator, and a built-in Chorus effect plus a 7 band graphic equalizer.
The software also offers repeat/pseudo arpeggiator functionality, support for MTS-ESP by ODDSound dynamic micro-tuning, and a resizable user interface. All parameters can be controlled by MIDI CC, making it a versatile tool for music production.
Ragnarök v2.0.0 is available for download in various versions, catering to both Windows and macOS, including versions compatible with older operating systems featuring non-resizable user interfaces. To assist users, the software comes with a comprehensive user manual.
While the new version offers enhanced features, Ragnarök Version 1 remains available for download. Additionally, users can access extra presets created by Kraftraum, Animehaus, and stvrsz, further expanding the software’s capabilities.
