News: Gazillion Industries has released JOURNEYMAN, a monosynth with three oscillators and two ladder filters.

Gazillion Industries has launched JOURNEYMAN, a software monosynth featuring three oscillators, two ladder filters, and a single-voice architecture. The instrument is designed for creating basses, leads, keys, pads, percussion, and effects, with 200 included programs.

JOURNEYMAN provides three oscillators with a continuously variable waveform control that moves from triangle through saw and square to pulse. Its two ladder filters are arranged as left and right channels, with the stated aim of creating stereo width.

The synth includes two envelopes, two modulation busses, and a dedicated LFO with sample-and-hold capability. Each included program is mapped to both the modulation wheel and JOURNEYMAN’s touch surface, allowing these controls to affect parameters within the preset.

Additional performance and routing functions include:

  • Glide controls
  • Note-priority selection
  • Single- and multi-trigger modes
  • External audio input
  • Output feedback routing

JOURNEYMAN is available as an AU, VST3, and standalone application on macOS, and as a VST3 plug-in on Windows. It is supplied as a universal binary for macOS and supports macOS 10.13 or later, while the Windows version requires Windows 10 or later in 64-bit form.

The licence key is activated once and can subsequently be used offline.

JOURNEYMAN is available from Gazillion Industries for $59.
