GForce Software has announced the release of its latest product, the Oberheim OB-EZ software synthesizer. This new software synthesizer is designed to provide producers with a streamlined workflow for creating thick, organic, and majestic sounds.
The Oberheim OB-EZ software synthesizer is an OB-E with the same FAT Oberheim 8-Voice Sound, but with a new, focused interface. It is not a lite version of the multi-award-winning OB-E in terms of sound; it is OB-E under the hood. The product includes over 260 of the most beautiful presets designed for OB-E that fit the OB-EZ control set, ensuring optimal tweaking potential.
The OB-EZ software synthesizer allows users to tweak all the essentials, such as cutoff, resonance, envelopes, tuning, portamento, delay, reverb and more. It does so effortlessly, and also allows users to save any modifications they make.
The development of OB-EZ is the result of a collaboration between GForce Software and Tom Oberheim and Marcus Ryle. The two were impressed enough to suggest a collaboration offering support to refine OB-E and to release an update carrying their full endorsement. OB-EZ is the continuation of this collaboration.
The software is available for both Mac and PC, and is a virtual instrument in the following formats: Intel & Apple Silicon Native, Standalone Application, AudioUnit, AAX, VST2, VST3 for Mac and Standalone Application, VST, VST3, AAX for PC. The Minimum System Requirements are as follows: Intel or Apple Silicon Mac, macOS 10.13 or above for Mac and 2GHz CPU with 2GB RAM, Windows 7 and above for PC.
The product is currently available for £24.99 Ex. VAT, which is 50% off the original price. Additionally, if you are an OB-E owner, OB-EZ has been added for free to your account. There is also a trial version of GForce Oberheim OB-EZ available for download, which is an ideal way to test the instrument on your system before purchase. The trial version is limited to 7 days.
This promotional discount is valid until March 7th.
