Harmonox Audio has launched Keyboard and Buttons, complimentary FX libraries for Kontakt. These libraries are also available in Wav format.
The Buttons Kontakt Library is an audio VST plugin designed to generate switch/button effects for films and games. This library boasts 193 samples recorded at 48 kHz, which are divided into five groups: Car, Console, House, Phone, and Other. Users can quickly add a reverb or a delay effect from the ready presets in the FX rack. Additionally, the library allows users to control the transient attack, pitch, and volume of the sound.
On the other hand, the Keyboard Kontakt Library replicates the sounds of a person using various computer keyboards and mice. This library is an excellent tool for sound designers who need to create realistic keyboard and mouse sound effects for their projects.
Both libraries include all sample content as standard open wav files. This feature provides users with easy access to manipulate, reprogram, and customize the sounds to their liking.
For those interested in using the optional Kontakt “nki” instrument presets, it is important to note that these require the full retail version of Native Instruments Kontakt 5.8.1 or later.
