Heavyocity has launched a new convolution reverb plugin named VAST. This innovative tool goes beyond traditional delay and reverb effects, offering a wide range of controls and features that allow users to manipulate and transform their sound in unique and creative ways.
VAST is more than just a reverb plugin; it is a comprehensive tool for designing and shaping audio. It provides users with the ability to transport their sound to entirely new and previously unattainable spaces. This is achieved through a combination of intuitive controls, innovative impulses, unique rhythmic echoes, and unconventional effects, making VAST a true playground for creative experimentation.
The plugin offers a wide range of textures and reverbs for crafting non-traditional and unique sonic environments. Users can artistically shape and mold the impulse response, unlocking complex ethereal pads and lush atmospheres. VAST delivers a variety of options for real acoustic spaces and devices, from intimate ambient rooms to grand halls and immense spaces. These reverbs offer versatile sonic personality and character for a wide array of production needs.
Setting itself apart from traditional delay tools, VAST features a diverse host of rhythmic convolutions and echoes. These tempo-synced impulse responses can transform an ordinary source into a distinctly inspiring rhythmic groove, allowing users to quickly build and shape a beat from any simple sound source.
VAST is not just about static impulse responses; it is a designer’s playground. Users can define their own signal chain of the FX modules with flexible routing and additional in-depth controls. They can re-arrange the Gate, EQ, Delay, Convolution, Compressor, and Mix for their desired effect. Furthermore, users can elevate their sonic signature by seamlessly loading their own audio files into VAST as their impulse response source, opening up endless possibilities for shaping unique reverbs.
The plugin also includes a feature for quickly cleaning up and fine-tuning effects to enhance overall sound quality and eliminate unwanted resonances caused by room acoustics and impulses. This feature intelligently scans the impulse and lowers the offending frequencies.
As an introductory offer, VAST is available at a 20% discount. Additionally, owners of Fury, Punish or Punish Lite can avail an extra $20 off. This offer is valid until February 12th.
