Homegrown Sounds has recently launched Audio Morpher 0.9, a novel sampler/looper application compatible with both Windows and Mac operating systems. The application, currently offered at a 40% introductory discount, is designed to transform existing samples into new ones, creating two types of useful files using relevant Meta Data.
Audio Morpher’s primary function is to create seamless loops that can be seamlessly integrated into samples for chromatic use. In addition, it also generates sliced files that can be utilized by software that comprehends cue markers.
While Audio Morpher is still in its beta phase, it is swiftly approaching its v1.0 release. It is important to note that the application has not been extensively tested with very short samples. Therefore, until the release of v1.0, it is recommended to use larger files. The application supports Octatrack Sample chain export and, in conjunction with manual mode, serves as a straightforward Sample chain editor.
Audio Morpher boasts various modes that generate samples in distinct ways. All files are converted to the input sample rate and bit depth settings, which can be set extremely low to create unique Lo-fi effects. These files are then re-sampled to the output sample rate and bit depth, preparing them for further processing. When files are saved, they are stored at the selected output settings.
