Joey Sturgis Tones has unveiled its latest product, Heat, a multiband distortion and saturation plugin. This powerful and versatile mixing audio tool is designed to cater to the needs of all types of music creators, offering a unique blend of analog warmth and digital precision.
Heat is not just an average distortion plugin. It has the ability to breathe life into your tracks and elevate your music production in ways you could never imagine. This tool puts you in control of distortion for enhancing, mixing, and creative sound design.
The full potential of Heat can be unleashed through its numerous features. It offers 18 unique processing modes, ranging from gentle ‘Vocal Warmth’ to aggressive ‘Hellraiser’, each crafted for specific sound characters. The high-resolution, analog-modeled saturation captures the essence of vintage gear for lush, detailed sound. Modes like ‘Extra Spice’ add depth with frequency-dependent saturation, enriching flat-sounding tracks.
Heat also provides precise multiband control. Users can adjust individual band level, saturation, and crossover frequency for distinct band-level processing in each mode. The global heat adjustment allows users to dial in the overall effect intensity with a master Heat knob, blending processed and unprocessed signals seamlessly.
For focused tweaking, users can isolate or mute bands or bypass the heat processing while keeping band-specific volume levels separate. Heat is designed for efficient and low-latency performance, ensuring smooth integration into your workflow without heavy CPU usage. It maintains high-quality sound even in complex sessions, with up to 4x oversampling for high quality and accurate saturation processing.
The plugin also offers detailed visual feedback through its integrated visual analyzer and real-time waveform display for monitoring the impact of your adjustments. Its versatile application ranges from subtle mastering touches with ‘Just A Touch’ mode to full-blown creative sound design using ‘Blow Torch’ and ‘Overload’ modes.
Heat comes with an extensive preset library, allowing users to start instantly with a wide range of presets, each tailored for different instruments and mixing scenarios. Its accessible and user-friendly interface makes it easy to achieve the perfect sound quickly, without a steep learning curve. The scalable GUI is compatible with major DAWs and screen reading software, ensuring seamless integration into various production workflows.
To help users get the most out of Heat, the plugin provides contextual hints, tips, and intended uses for the mode you’re currently using.
As an introductory offer, Heat is available at 50% off. The offer also includes 4 free bonus plugins at checkout. The expiry date of this promotional offer is currently unknown.
