Kilohearts has launched Shaper Table, a new waveshaper plugin. The plugin is a wavetable-powered distortion tool that enhances the concept of waveshaping by allowing users to utilize a wavetable for shape remapping, thereby creating a distortion effect that evolves over time.
Shaper Table comes with a vast array of tables specifically designed for this purpose. However, it also provides users with the freedom to create their own tables using the table editor. The plugin is equipped with several parameters, including a 3D graph, a 2D graph, phase, bias, smooth, drive knob, DC filter, mix, overflow modes, and table selector.
The plugin is compatible with both PC and Mac systems, including M1 Native support. It requires a CPU of 2 GHz or faster, 1 GB or more memory, and any Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) that supports VST 2, VST 3, AAX, or Audio Unit plugin standards. It should be noted that all plugin formats are available in 64-bit only.
