Kreativ Sound has launched KS Ghostform, an evolving drone and string synthesizer designed for slow harmonic movement, deep drones, cinematic beds, and textured ambient sound design. The instrument is available in AU and VST3 formats for macOS, alongside a 64-bit VST3 edition for Windows.
KS Ghostform includes 144 factory presets spanning drones, pads, basses, leads, plucks, and experimental textures. Its sound-generation structure combines two oscillator workflows with a sub oscillator, providing the foundation for its sustained and evolving sound design focus.
The synthesizer also includes animated filtering, echo, and reverb processing. A Variation control is provided for exploring related sound ideas, while every parameter supports MIDI automation for use within compatible DAWs and performance setups.
KS Ghostform supports macOS 11 or later on both Apple Silicon and Intel-based Macs. The Windows version is supplied as a 64-bit VST3 plug-in.
