Metric Halo has launched Version 4 of MH Production Bundle, a comprehensive suite of signal processing plug-ins designed for audio engineering. This latest version includes ten updated and new plugins, each lauded for their sound quality and versatility by top engineers, producers, and musicians.
The MH Production Bundle v4 includes the updated MH ChannelStrip, new MH Sonic EQ, new MH SuperGate, updated MH Dirty Delay, updated MH Character, updated MH HaloVerb, updated MH Multiband Dynamics, updated MH Multiband Expander, updated MH TransientControl, and updated MH Precision De-Esser.
The new version introduces two new plugins to the bundle. The MH SuperGate is a state-space based Signal Gate that enhances the functionality of a traditional gate. The MH Sonic EQ is a 6-band fully parametric Equalizer, supporting 2nd to 8th order filters, and is based on the original SonicEQ developed by Dr. Andy Moorer for the Sonic Solutions mastering DAW.
The v4 bundle also introduces new functions for Pro Tools, including support for EQ and Dynamics graphs, and enabling EQ and Dynamics pages in Avid Control/EuCon when running in Pro Tools. The MH Character plugin has been updated with a new user interface and additional oversampling options.
Common changes for all plug-ins include VST3 versions for all plugins on both macOS and Windows, VST3 Apple Silicon Native support for Steinberg products, and VST3 Native Sidechain Support for plugins that provide Sidechain input. Other updates include Undo/Redo, A/B snapshots and snapshot blend, software update tracking, more flexible resizability, and improved preset management.
The bundle is available for a 30-day free trial. The introductory sale price of the product is $399, down from the original price of $699. The bundle also comes free with new purchases of Metric Halo Audio Interfaces.
The system requirements for the product include Mac OS X 10.10 or newer with an Intel Processor or Apple Silicon, or Windows 7 or newer with an Intel Processor. The product is compatible with AU, VST 2 & 3 or AAX (Pro Tools 11 & newer Native) host for Mac and VST or AAX (Pro Tools 10, 11 & 12 & Native) host for Windows, both 64 bit.
The licensing requirements include an iLok.com account and the license includes two activations for your account. An iLok dongle is optional and the license may be installed on the machine, an iLok, or the iLok Cloud for portability. Only one license is required and it works on all supported platforms.
