Mixland has launched 280 PRE, for both Mac and Windows users. This release is aimed at audio professionals and enthusiasts who are keen on enhancing their sound production capabilities with advanced tone-shaping tools.
The 280 PRE is designed to cater to those who have a deep appreciation for tonal quality. It is available in AAX, VST3, and AU formats, ensuring compatibility across a wide range of digital audio workstations. Users operating on macOS M1, M2, M3, and M4 Native (Mac OS X 10.7 and higher) as well as Windows 64bit (Windows 7 and higher) can seamlessly integrate this plugin into their setups.
One of the standout features of the 280 PRE is its ability to provide rich saturation and musical coloration, which can significantly enhance the warmth and depth of audio tracks. The plugin includes a drift control feature, allowing for subtle variations in harmonic overtones, and an age control to add a vintage character to the sound.
For those seeking precision in tone shaping, the 280 PRE offers intuitive controls that facilitate detailed adjustments. The mix control feature supports parallel processing, enabling users to blend the processed and unprocessed signals effectively. Additionally, the autogain function ensures consistent output levels, regardless of the input signal strength.
The plugin also includes a 2x stack feature for serial processing, which allows users to layer effects for more complex sound designs. Furthermore, it offers oversampling options at 2x, 4x, 8x, and 16x, providing flexibility in achieving the desired audio quality.
Purchasers of the 280 PRE will receive a lifetime license, and notably, the plugin does not require an iLok for activation, simplifying the installation and usage process.
The 280 PRE is currently available at an introductory price of $49.99, down from its regular price of $79.99. The duration of this promotional offer is not specified.
