The Range 120 Guitar Amplifier is designed to capture the raw power and distinctive tones that have been integral to the sound of classic and hard rock music. It features a variety of controls and effects, allowing users to shape their sound with precision. Among its key features is the Frequency Attenuator Control, which provides a six-position rotary switch for tone sculpting and midrange voicing. Additionally, the amplifier includes interactive Bass and Treble controls, an HF Drive for added sparkle, and a Gain control to shape preamp distortion and manage output levels.
Users can choose between dual inputs, offering either clean headroom or enhanced saturation, depending on the selected input. Post-amplifier effects include a studio-grade Equalizer, Delay-Reverb for ambient textures, and a Studio Compressor for consistent sound dynamics.
For those who prefer to work outside of a digital audio workstation (DAW), the Range 120 offers a standalone version of the plugin. This allows users to play and tweak tones independently, providing flexibility for various recording and performance scenarios.
