The Evolution Clawhammer Banjo is a groundbreaking product from Orange Tree Samples. It was recorded using a folk-style open back banjo modeled after the Whyte Laydie banjo, a popular choice among musicians. To ensure versatility, the instrument also includes fingerstyle articulations. This library was brought to life through a collaboration with Rosewood Recording Company, with the banjo samples performed by the talented multi-instrumentalist Ryan Tilby.
The library is hosted by the Evolution engine, a powerful tool that provides built-in patterns for authentic clawhammer rhythms. It also offers a comprehensive collection of effects, allowing users to create a wide range of sounds. Additionally, the engine provides a variety of settings to customize the instrument according to performance needs.
The Evolution Clawhammer Banjo is compatible with the free Kontakt Player and is NKS-ready, meaning it integrates seamlessly with the Native Kontrol Standard.
