News: Orchestral Tools Launches Berlin Free Orchestra Library for SINE Player.

Orchestral Tools has launched Berlin Free Orchestra library, now accessible through the free SINE Player. This release offers a comprehensive sampled orchestra, catering to both newcomers to film music and seasoned producers seeking high-quality orchestral sounds.

The Berlin Free Orchestra provides a complete symphony orchestra experience, featuring 20 solo instruments and 13 instrument ensembles. Users can explore 67 articulations and benefit from four expressive legato soloists. The library includes round robins and multiple dynamic layers for strings and brass, ensuring a rich and versatile sound palette. Additionally, it offers a full range of standard orchestral instruments, both pitched and unpitched percussion, and a professionally mixed microphone mix. The library comprises 6.4 GB of uncompressed samples, which reduces to 3 GB upon installation.

Designed to run on the free SINE Player software, the Berlin Free Orchestra draws its instruments from the flagship Berlin Series collections. These collections are known for their comprehensive integration and have been recorded with top-tier musicians at the Teldex Scoring Stage in Berlin. This ensures that users receive a high-quality orchestral experience that is both authentic and versatile.

The Berlin Free Orchestra is available at no cost. To utilize this library, users need to meet certain system requirements. For Mac users, the library requires macOS 10.15 or higher, an Intel Core i5 processor or similar, with Apple ARM chipsets supported. A minimum of 8 GB RAM is necessary, though 16 GB or more is recommended. Windows users need Windows 10, an Intel Core i5 processor or similar, and the same RAM requirements as Mac users. Supported formats include Standalone, VST, VST3, AU, and AAX.

To access the Berlin Free Orchestra, users should download the SINE Player and locate the library in the ‘My Licenses’ tab. This offering provides an excellent opportunity for musicians and producers to enhance their compositions with high-quality orchestral sounds.

The Berlin Free Orchestra is available for free with no expiration date.
