OxyDSP has launched OxyMeteor, a spectral phasing and vocoding plugin. The plugin, compatible with both Windows and Mac operating systems, is currently available at a discounted rate for its initial launch.
The OxyMeteor plugin is specifically designed for spectral manipulation. This allows users to generate a variety of effects such as deep phasers, colourful sparkle, spectral degradation, and high-quality vocoding. The plugin provides control of a periodic filter across a range of 32 to 2048 frequency bands, facilitated by two LFOs. It also features attack and release controls for sound smoothing.
In addition to spectral manipulation, OxyMeteor offers several vocoding modes. These include envelope following, whisperisation, texturisation, atmospheric reverb, and sound-morphing. This wide array of modes provides users with a comprehensive tool for audio manipulation and enhancement.
The plugin comes with over 100 factory presets and supports up to 3 parallel activations. The user interface (UI) of the plugin is fully vector-based and resizable. It includes features like A/B states, Undo/Redo, and user presets, all designed to streamline the workflow. Users also have the ability to customise the theme colour and load custom backgrounds to the spectrum and LFO views.
OxyDSP also offers a free demo version of the OxyMeteor plugin. However, this version has some limitations, including no state saving or loading, except for factory presets. The output is also muted intermittently, and there is no offline render, no A/B states, and no Undo/Redo.
The OxyMeteor plugin is currently priced at €39,00 EUR, a reduction from its regular price of €49,00 EUR. This introductory offer, providing a 20% discount, is valid until April 21st.
