KÄFTEN is a newly released vocal sample library for Decent Sampler, created from recordings of the developer’s own voice across its full range. Designed for use within the free Decent Sampler platform, the library presents a focused collection of bass, regular, and falsetto vocal tones captured at a single point in time.
KÄFTEN includes a total of 66 stereo samples provided in 24-bit, 48kHz WAV format. Each note has been recorded four times, then mixed and bounced to create the final sample set. The library features sustained vowel articulations in “AH” and “OH”.
The instrument is intended for use with Decent Sampler, a free sample playback plugin available for major desktop platforms. Once loaded, users can access a small set of built-in controls designed to shape the sound within the plugin interface.
Available parameters and effects include:
- Adjustable attack and release controls
- Low-pass filter
- Chorus
- Reverb
The samples are delivered in uncompressed stereo WAV format. The full library occupies approximately 140 MB uncompressed, or 114 MB in its compressed download form.
Technical specifications:
- Format: Stereo WAV (uncompressed)
- Bit depth: 24-bit
- Sample rate: 48kHz
- File size: 114 MB compressed / 140 MB uncompressed
KÄFTEN is released as 100% royalty-free for use in musical projects. Redistribution of the standalone samples and claiming ownership of the original recordings are not permitted under the stated license terms.
The library is available now for Decent Sampler.
KÄFTEN is currently available for €2.
