Pettinhouse, a software developer, has unveiled its latest product, the PowerBass library for Kontakt (full version). This new library is a significant upgrade from previous offerings, featuring a two-part design, authentic rock bass loops, advanced technology, and a dynamic, responsive interface.
The PowerBass library is designed in two distinct sections, similar to the FunkyBass library. The first section is a traditional sample library, now enhanced with sophisticated scripts and layered samples. This library stands out from previous Pettinhouse offerings as it was meticulously recorded using a pick instead of fingers, providing a more authentic representation of rock bass playing.
The second part of the PowerBass library offers approximately 50 energetic and varied rock bass loops. These loops are designed to infuse compositions with a genuine rock vibe, adding depth and authenticity to any musical project.
The PowerBass library also boasts advanced technology features. It includes enhanced legato for hammer ons and pull offs, four levels of velocity, and an intelligent system that alternates between legato and staccato notes. This technology makes the playing experience more dynamic and expressive, allowing users to create more nuanced and complex compositions.
One of the standout features of the PowerBass library is its dynamic and responsive interface. A meticulously programmed script supports multiple round robins, allowing the library to respond beautifully to various playing styles. Whether the user is playing fast or gentle, the library provides a realistic and immersive experience.
Pettinhouse is currently offering the PowerBass library for pre-sale at a discounted price of $39, a significant saving from the standard price of $79. Customers who pre-order the library will receive an email with a download link on January 22, 2024.
