PinkNoise Studio launched iUNO Kontakt edition library, a Kontakt sample library that encapsulates the best sounds of the iconic Roland analog synthesizer from the 80s. The library is designed to provide a range of warm analogue sounds, including fat basses, lush pads, and powerful leads.
The primary objective in the design of iUNO was to create an ergonomic user interface for the sound library that leverages the advanced features of Kontakt. The outcome is a versatile synthesizer that delivers fat and warm analogue sounds reminiscent of the original hardware, but with the convenience of a software environment. The majority of the patches are velocity sensitive and have been specifically designed for live performers.
It’s important to note that the iUNO Kontakt Edition requires the full retail version of Kontakt (v5.5.1 or a more recent version). It is not compatible with the free Kontakt Player, as it will cease functioning after 15 minutes of use.
