Polyspectral has recently unveiled Polyspectral MBC, a multiband compressor plugin compatible with both Windows and Mac. The plugin, currently available at a 20% introductory discount, is designed to be efficient, sonically transparent, and ideal for real-time applications such as tracking and live mixing.
Polyspectral MBC is a multiband compressor plugin that boasts ultra-low latency, making it a suitable tool for real-time applications. The plugin, regularly priced at $49.99 USD, is currently on sale for $39.99 USD.
The plugin is compatible with VST3 on both Windows and Mac, and AU on Mac, making it usable in most major Digital Audio Workstations (DAWs). The company has also announced that AAX support will be available soon. Furthermore, the plugin natively supports M1/M2 Macs.
One of the key features of the Polyspectral MBC is its low CPU usage. This is achieved through the use of carefully selected and optimized signal processing algorithms for x86/x64 and ARM processor cores. Additionally, the plugin has negligible latency due to the use of minimum-phase filters.
The user interface of the Polyspectral MBC is both elegant and responsive. It features clear, intuitive parameter adjustment and a real-time spectral display. The compression algorithm of the plugin was designed with mastering in mind, ensuring extreme transparency and avoiding any undesired coloration to the mix. The plugin supports all common speaker layouts, as well as Ambisonic formats.
In addition to its compatibility with DAWs, the Polyspectral MBC is also available as a plugin for Wwise. This allows for the improvement of a game’s mix and dynamics at runtime.
The introductory 20% discount on the Polyspectral MBC is valid until February 29th.
