PSPaudioware has launched PSP Datamix A567, for Windows and Mac. This plugin, which models an equalizer module from the classic first-generation Datamix console, has been officially approved and endorsed by Eddie Kramer and is designed to add character to any track or mix.
The PSP Datamix A567 plugin features three bands of equalization: Low, Mid, and High. It also includes FAT double sampling, 64-bit double precision floating point math, preamp section modeling on input, and an output section with transformer emulation. Users can vary the sound character by selecting the tuning of a specific channel.
This plugin is compatible with both Windows and macOS (Intel and Silicon) and supports AudioUnit, AAX, VST, and VST3. A user manual is available for download, and a 30-day trial version is available for both macOS and Windows platforms.
In order to run PSP Datamix A567, users need an iLok user ID and the free iLok License Manager application. The license can be activated in three separate locations, which can be either a computer or an iLok dongle (2nd generation or above).
The plugin also comes with nearly 100 presets designed by professional users from around the world, including a few by Eddie Kramer himself.
