Psycho Circuitry, a software developer, has launched a new compressor plugin named miniFET+ for Windows and Mac operating systems. The miniFET+ is a versatile FET compressor that comes with a variety of features designed to enhance audio quality.
The miniFET+ compressor plugin is equipped with three FET action modes, providing users with a range of options to improve their audio. The software also includes a robust harmonics section that can be adjusted from subtle to extreme, depending on the user’s preference. This feature is complemented by three harmonics modes and two switchable output transformer simulations.
Other notable features of the miniFET+ include an auto-release that is adapted for each action mode, a compression or limiting mode, and an external sidechain and high-pass filter. These features ensure that the software is versatile and can cater to a variety of audio enhancement needs. The software also boasts an oversampling system that offers up to a x16 rate, providing users with high-quality audio.
The miniFET+ also comes with a channel mode setting that allows users to force mono operation or switch to dual mono operation.
