Rhodes, a pioneer in the music technology industry, has launched the V-Pan effect plugin. This new product is designed to add depth and dimension to various musical instruments and vocals, offering unique sound effects.
The Rhodes V-Pan is a continuation of the company’s legacy of innovation in music technology. In the 1970s, Rhodes introduced the groundbreaking ‘vibrato’ stereo panning effect on the suitcase piano, which set a new standard for the industry. The V-Pan is a direct model of the unique Rhodes MK8 hardware Vari-Pan circuit, demonstrating the company’s commitment to maintaining its iconic sound while pushing the boundaries of music technology.
The V-Pan effect plugin comes with several features designed to offer maximum sonic flexibility. These include left/right panning LEDs, a continuously variable waveform, and a rate that ranges from super-slow to audio rates for synth-esque and ring mod-like effects. Additionally, the plugin offers deep depth control, parameter value readout, and waveform slew and smooth controls to further shape and customise the panning waveshape. It also includes a BPM sync feature.
For a limited time, Rhodes is offering the V-Pan effect plugin for free. This offer is valid until January 31st, providing an excellent opportunity for musicians and producers to experiment with this new tool and explore its potential to enhance their sound.
