Sampleson has recently launched Drumbada, a new drum engine plugin designed for both Mac and Windows users. This innovative plugin is based on the unique sound of the “Bombo Legüero,” a rare South American bass drum, and introduces the Crew-playing algorithm, which mimics the behavior and imperfections of 15 percussionists playing in unison.
Drumbada is a polyrhythmic cinematic drum engine plugin that comes equipped with five groups of three drummers each. It simplifies the process of creating polyrhythms by offering intuitive controls within its five groups of sound sources and arpeggiators. The plugin allows for independent adjustments for signature, speed, spread value, and accent, making it a versatile tool accessible to musicians and producers of all skill levels.
In addition to its unique sound capabilities, Drumbada also features an intuitive interface and a user-friendly mouse-drag UI zone. This allows users to have unparalleled control over their sound, making the plugin an ideal creative tool for both live performances and studio composition.
Drumbada is also designed to be efficient, boasting low CPU usage. It features an 8-Round-Robins Bombo Legüero drum, five sound sources with independent arpeggiators, and a scalable HD interface. The plugin also includes an impulse-based reverb and allows for gain and pan adjustments for each group.
However, it’s important to note that the plugin is not supported on Pro Tools. It requires 100 MB HDD, 4GB RAM, and a 64 bits Plugin and Standalone for both Mac and Windows systems. The Mac version is supported on Apple Silicon (Native) and Intel Macs and works on OSX 10.7 or later. The Windows version, on the other hand, is compatible with Windows 7 or later.
