Sonixinema, a software company specializing in music technology, has launched a new product, String Swells Core. This sample library, designed for full Kontakt, is a derivative of the String Swells Pro library and is aimed at creating music with movement.
The String Swells Core library was recorded at British Grove Studios by Nick Wollage and performed by a collective of 16 of the UK’s top string players. The library features a single core articulation that can be shaped into five different bar lengths. This flexibility allows the library to be used in a variety of compositions and orchestrations, ranging from delicate underscore to large, epic film scores.
To use the product, users will require the FULL Version of Kontakt: 6.8.0+. The library offers more than 15 presets, with microphone positions including Close Mono, Close Stereo, Mid, Far, and Mix. The size of the library is 1.6GB, making it a substantial addition to any music producer’s toolkit.
The instrument ensemble within the library includes 8 Violins, 3 Violas, 3 Cellos, and 2 Bass. The product range is categorized under “Swells”, and the file format is NKI. To assist users, the product page includes links to download the Kontakt Player, the Native Access Download, the End-User License Agreement, and a manual for the product.
For those interested in hearing the product in action or obtaining the Pro version of the product, the page also includes relevant links. Walkthroughs and demos of the product are also available to provide users with a comprehensive understanding of the product’s capabilities.
Currently, the product is available at a promotional discount of 20%, reducing the price to £39.00 from the original £49.00. The String Swells Pro is also available at a 20% discount during this promotional period. The expiry date of this promotion is currently unknown.
