Sonora Cinematic has launched a new product called Aria Vocalscapes for Kontakt Player. This innovative instrument is designed to add rich vocal textures, atmospheres, and pads to music compositions, featuring vocals by classically trained soprano Emma May Price.
Aria Vocalscapes offers a variety of articulations, ranging from traditional “Aah” and “Mmh” sounds to heavily processed vocals. This broad spectrum of vocal expressions allows musicians to create unique and captivating soundscapes that can enhance the emotional depth and complexity of their compositions.
The product is powered by a bespoke Aria Engine, specifically designed for Kontakt Player. This engine is packed with modulation possibilities and expressive effects, providing users with a high degree of creative control. Moreover, it enables users to create their own samples, further expanding the range of sounds that can be produced.
Aria Vocalscapes includes two step sequencers for the filters and per-layer Low Frequency Oscillators (LFOs), three effects slots, and an FX panel that adjusts according to the effect selected. These features provide users with a comprehensive set of tools for shaping and refining their sound.
In addition to these features, Aria Vocalscapes also allows users to capture their unique artistic expression by recording their own XY motions. These can be stored as presets and their playback speed can be adjusted, providing an additional layer of customization. Furthermore, users can import their own samples, opening up limitless possibilities for creativity.
